Loved the food and the owner was super polite. Their charsi tikka is honestly one of a kind, couldn’t fault the food at all. They were a bit short staffed today so service was a little slow, but nothing major. Overall, I’d definitely come back again.

Delicious food, we ordered the charsi platter II for 4 people and liked every part of it. The chapli kebab was the best I'd had, so juicy and moist, full of flavour and melt in the mouth. Lovely atmosphere. They also give free tap water. Customer service is excellent. Would recommend and will visit again.

This was my second visit. At my first visit I ordered mix grill platter and it was really tasty. On my second visit and ordered chapli kebab and tarka daal, and the kebab was soft and juicy. Highly recommend it. Overall great experience, staff very friendly, clean, nice decor. Will visit again.

Food was fantastic, tasted fresh, clean, and tasty. A hidden gem in Birmingham. Service was brilliant especially our host Alishba and the manager who stayed open longer to serve us tea after our meal. Highly recommend.

Dropped in one freezing evening, enroute late from office deadlines hoping for a quick curry pickup to break my fast at home — little did I know I’d wandered straight into a slice of Peshawar itself, having missed the signboard on my hurried way in. Not my usual culinary preference, I asked for a Pakistani karahi, only to be met with bemused smiles and, soon after, a spread of rich, aromatic Peshawari dishes that needed no translation.
As I paced to get home to open my fast in time, awaiting my order, the owner appeared like a gracious apparition, absolutely insisted I stay and break my fast right there — with a full three-course meal, entirely on the house.
The generosity was as heartwarming as the enormous chapli kebabs — truly heroic in size and spirit. A place where hospitality isn’t just offered, but served with both hands and a genuinely big heart.- Food

I recently visited Charsi Dera when passing through Birmingham. I ordered the Platter 1, and I was really impressed. The lamb chops stood out the most, they were incredibly flavorful, juicy, and had that perfect smoky, grilled taste. You could tell they were marinated well and cooked just right.
The chapli kebab was another highlight, crispy on the outside, soft and spicy on the inside, just how it should be. The seekh kebab was tender and nicely seasoned, with a great balance of spices.
The portion size was generous, and everything tasted fresh. It’s clear they put effort into the quality and flavour of their food. The service was without fault and the staff were very attentive. If you're a fan of Pakistani or Afghani BBQ, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be going back!- Food

I go past this place on the way to my brother's. Food aromas always smell amazing and always seems to be busy so ordered takeaway on Uber Eats. Food was awesome. Delicious, authentic, great value too. Felt totally unwelcome when picking it up though, not sure why, I was polite and respectful, but a shame because I'd have loved to eat from there again.
